LUKOIL Provides Educational Support to Schools in Hatay

As part of its 2024 social responsibility project, LUKOIL made significant investments in five schools in Hatay, creating a major impact in the field of education. In order to provide students with a better learning environment, the company carried out extensive improvements in these schools. Within the scope of this project, fully equipped libraries and conference halls were built, computers and projectors were supplied, and missing books in the libraries were completed. In addition, modern library tables and bookshelves were designed for the students, contributing to the overall school atmosphere.

In this aid and donation campaign, which was carried out to strengthen the educational infrastructure of schools in Hatay, libraries were established at Şehit Cuma Bilek Primary School, Büyükburç Primary School, Narlıca Zeytindalı Secondary School and Bozhöyük Primary School, and computers, projectors and digital equipment that would support students’ education were purchased. Based on the lists provided by the schools, books were purchased for the libraries, and a conference hall was set up for Yahya Turan Science High School in Reyhanlı. All needs were considered down to the finest detail. Taking into account every element that could contribute to students’ education, technological upgrades and physical improvements were implemented in the schools. According to the information provided by school principals and teachers, these investments have made the educational process more efficient and enabled students to learn in better conditions.

Students and Teachers Expressed Their Happiness

Last week, LUKOIL Deputy General Manager Surayyo Khonova, Marketing Manager Gökhan Eser and their team visited the five schools renewed within the scope of the aid and donation campaign. During the visit, students and teachers expressed their gratitude to the company’s team for their contributions. The students presented flowers to show their appreciation for the project, while school principals presented special plaques to LUKOIL in recognition of its support. These emotional moments became one of the most memorable parts of the visit.
